About the Artists

Marcos Zacariades - Curatorship

Marcos is a visual artist and curator born in Brazil. His work includes

installations, paintings, sculptures and videos.  In 2002 he created the

Galeria Arte & Memória in Igatu,  a small village on the border of a 

National Park. With a wonderful view, an sculpture garden, and an out 

door museum, the Gallery is visited by people from all over the world.

Marcos works with an anthropological eye, transforming his art in a 

social interaction connecting the place where he lives with the world.
