A village which history is linked with the diamond's cycle in Brazil

Its architecture comes from mid of the 19th Century

After the period of abundance the prospectors left the
 village  and most of its constructions turn into ruins

All the ruins are protected as a historical 
heritage from the period of the diamond cycle

Its people celebrate life with joy but also are devoted to its culture and religion

The Procession of Souls is celebrated during the Nights of Lent. The participants 
dressed in white sheets walk at night chanting for the soul of dead people
